Professional Experience and Community Activities
Mr. Cote' serves as a Federal Court Mediator and has represented both lawyers and judges before the Attorney Discipline Board and the Judicial Tenure Commission;
He is a founding member of Willingham & Cote', a law firm with offices in East Lansing and St. Johns, Michigan;
He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company;
Mr. Cote' is a Past President of the Ingham County Bar Association, an organization that has honored him with its Outstanding Attorney of the Year Award; He was a founder of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School;
Mr. Cote' was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to chair the Attorney Discipline Board, a position he held for seven years and was its Chair for the first five years.
