Professional Experience
Ms. Van Regenmorter’s experience covers a wide range of business disciplines. She has particular expertise in health law and leads the firm’s Health Care Practice Group. She has many years of experience representing providers with emphasis in the areas of physicians, hospice, homecare, and long term care, including one of the country’s largest long-term care organizations. She has a vast array of experience in teaming with providers in the areas of regulatory compliance and contracts.
Ms. Van Regenmorter is also experienced in the real estate area and has negotiated many multi-million dollar commercial acquisitions and sales with particular expertise in condominium law. She has formed many residential and commercial condominiums, including mixed-use developments; golf course developments; marinas; “incubator” condominiums, and condominium projects within condominium projects. Ms. Van Regenmorter also represents many condominium associations.
Ms. Van Regenmorter also practices in the general business area and enjoys representing new businesses and assisting them with choice of entity issues and business formation, as well as assisting established businesses with ongoing business matters, including stock purchase agreements. She has also represented many individuals and families in executive estate planning; planning for blended families; and the formation of family LLCs.
Ms. Van Regenmorter is a member of the Real Property Law, Elder Law and Health Care Law Sections of the Michigan State Bar Association; is a member of the Health Care Association of Michigan; a member of the American Health Lawyers Association; and the Michigan Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
Pro Bono/ Professional/Community Activities
Ms. Van Regenmorter is a member of First Reformed Church of Holland, where she serves as an elder and is active on various committees and teaches children’s worship. She is also a Past President of the Exchange Club, the nation’s oldest service organization, and was the first female elected to that position in the Holland Club. She has also been active as a United Way professional division chair and is a past board member of the Gerontology Network and Holland Teen Ministry.
Personal
Ms. Van Regenmorter enjoys spending time with her family, sailing, skiing, golfing, and reading. She also enjoys running and completed her first 25K race in 2007.
