The firm recruits each fall at law schools throughout the midwest, making regular visits to University of Notre Dame, Wayne State University and Indiana University – Bloomington; interviewing students for positions as summer associates following completion of their second year of law school. Each of the firm’s current associates were summer associates at one time. The firm does not recruit first year law students. Potential lateral hires are evaluated on a case by case basis.
In addition to the benefits noted above, associates are eligible for a 15% referral bonus based on collections from clients generated by the associate for two years from the date the client was brought to the firm. The firm also pays for bar review courses, bar exam fees, annual bar dues and seminars the associate attends.
