Professional Experience
Mr. Rassi’s extensive estate planning and business succession experience are of particular interest to family owned businesses, having assisted dozens of companies with this delicate issue.  Mr. Rassi has also represented a Michigan-based mutual insurance company in a demutualization, converting the insurer to stock-based ownership where he then represented the stock insurer in an SEC registration and initial public offering of stock which raised $6.8 million of equity capital.  He possesses unique expertise in Franchise Law where he assists franchisors with registration throughout the U.S. and the development and maintenance of their franchise distribution systems.  He also assists franchisees with the review of area developer, royalty and other franchisee agreements.

Pro Bono/Professional/Community Activities
Mr. Rassi is a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of Kent County. He is also involved as a member of various trade and professional organizations including the Builder’s Exchange of Grand Rapids and Western Michigan, and the West Michigan Estate Planning Counsel. Mr. Rassi is a co-founder of the Santa Brings a Law Suit© program in Grand Rapids. The program provides business suits to job placement and training organizations focused on providing job skills and opportunities to the displaced or less fortunate members of the community.

Mr. Rassi resides in Grand Rapids with his wife and daughter.
